Jim Jellison: Head Coach (31st Season; 15 MASCAC Team Titles)

Jellison is in his 31st season as head coach of the Fitchburg State cross country team. He has led the Falcons to 15 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) team titles, including a MASCAC Championship during the 2008 season. For his efforts, Jellison was named the 2008 MASCAC Coach of the Year.  

During the 2007-08 season, Jellison and the Falcons enjoyed a successful campaign, which  saw three runners qualify for the NCAA Division III Regional Championship meet at Connecticut College. Overall the Fitchburg State men's team garnered a 23rd place finish out of a field of 59, while the women finished 44th overall.

Jellison also serves as men's and women's track coach at Fitchburg State. He has been coaching both cross-country and women's track since 1979, while taking over the men's track position in 1994. Jellison was a major catalyst in the rebuilding of the men's program, which only strated with five athletes. Today, Jellision's cross country teams average over 22 runners, while the track teams boast a strong 40+ athletes.

In addition to his successful team building, Jellison has also coached 48 NCAA All-Americans including seven National Champions. He has led the Falcons to several post-season honors, including appearances at the Division III New England's, All-New England's and ECAC Championships. With Jellison at the helm, the Falcons are on the fast track to once again becoming one of the top teams in New England.

Jellison, a retired physical education teacher, resideds in Fitchburg, Mass. with his wife Alice and their three sons, Robbie (18), Chris (15) and Shane (5).

Jamie Aubuchon

Jamie Aubuchon has been working with the Fitchburg State cross country team since the 1998 season. He previously was the assistant cross country coach at Leominster High School from 2000-2004. 

Aubuchon is a 1990 graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University where he was a six time Northeast Division III all-star while competing in just three seasons.

Recently, Aubuchon was crowned the 2002, 2006 and 2009 National Masters Pentathlon Champion for his age group.
