Philip Miller
Title: Special Teams Coordinator/LB

Philip Miller is in his first season as assistant coach of the Fitchburg State football team.  He will serve as the special teams coordinator while working with the Falcon line-backers.

Miller brings over 26 years of coaching experience to the Fitchburg State staff, including 13 years as an assistant coach for the Bentley University football team. At Bentley, Miller spearheaded the Falcons running attack while serving as the special teams coordinator.

Prior to coaching at collegiate level, Miller also spent 13 years as a high school football coach. Miller kick-started his coaching career at North Andover High School, where he served as an assistant coach of the varsity football team for ten season. After his ten year career with the Scarlet Knights, Miller continued coaching at the high school level, serving as the head coach of the Sharon High School football team for three seasons.

Miller is a 1976 graduate from Bucknell University. He currently resides in North Andover, Mass. with his wife Peggy, and his three children, Philip (20), Michael (18) and Andrew (16).
