Michelle Walsh joined the Fitchburg State Athletics staff in August, 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Swarthmore College in 1998.

After graduation, Michelle attended Smith College where served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Pioneers’ Women’s Basketball program. Throughout her tenure, Michelle assisted with day-to-day operations of the NCAA Division III Basketball program, while earning her Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Studies.

Prior to joining the Fitchburg State staff, Michelle served as the Facilities Coordinator and Head Women’s Basketball coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. At Lawrence, Michelle assisted with the department's budget management, transportation/lodging procurement and student worker supervision, while also handling all scheduling needs of the University’s athletic facilities.

She currently resides in Fitchburg, Mass. and is pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree at Fitchburg State.
